Jester Drum & Bugle Corps - Membership

Audition Fee: $65

  1. Camp Fee (per weekend camp): $25  Camp fee includes all meals and lodging for the weekend.
  2. Rehearsal Fee (per weeknight rehearsal): $5  Rehearsal fee includes meal for rehearsal.
  3. Tour & Performance Fee: $1,300.00  Fee may be reduced with participation in fundraising. Payment plans are available. Tour and Performance Fees Includes:

 

  • Transportation
  • Food when traveling
  • Lodging
  • Custom fit uniform
  • Maintenance of uniform
  • One pair of gloves

2007 Membership Requirements

The requirements for membership in Jester Drum & Bugle Corps are:

  1. All prospective members must audition and pay the $65.00 audition fee before playing for part assignment/audition or receiving a position in the corps.
  2. Interview with the corps director.
  3. Play for section caption head.
  4. Must be offered a position.
  5. All paperwork must be completed and turned in.
  6. All members must meet all financial obligations on time.
  7. A certified copy of your birth certificate MUST be presented no later than March 1, 2007.
  8. No one is allowed to leave campus without permission from corps director.
  9. All prospective members who have not graduated from high school must have a letter of recommendation from his/her band director or fine arts teacher.  This must be on official school letterhead in a sealed envelope.
  10. Members must attend all camps, all rehearsals, and all performances.
  11. All members must provide a minimum of $50.00 through a fundraiser for the corps.
  12. In case of emergency, members will be responsible for camp fees unless they give a minimum of 48-hour notice to the corps director.  Click here to pre-register for camp.

2007 Fee Schedule and Payments

  • Audition Fee: $65.00
  • Camp Fee (per weekend camp): $25.00
  • Tour and Performance Fee: $1,300.00 and up, depending on payoff date.

A deposit of $50.00 must be paid before any equipment can be checked out.  This deposit will be applied towards tour fee.

*Camp and rehearsal fees are assessed to all accounts regardless of attendance unless the Corps Director is notified a minimum of 48-hours in advance.

**All payments MUST be received on or before the due date to take advantage of reduced pricing.  If camp is held after the due date, you must mail your payment and that payment must be postmarked on or before the due date.  Mail payments to: Jester Drum & Bugle Corps              1751 W. A MONTHLY LATE CHARGE WILL BE ASSESSED TO ALL UNPAID BALANCES AFTER JUNE 16, 2007.

REFUNDS:

All refunds are prorated.  No refunds after March 1st.  Refunds will be mailed the last week of December.
